Updated November 2025
Participation in the Colorado Makers Market confirms that the vendor has read, understood, and agrees to all Terms & Conditions listed below. Applying, paying, or attending the event as a vendor automatically binds the vendor to these terms, whether signed or not.
Colorado Makers Market is a curated, juried artisan market designed to highlight independent makers and create a safe and enjoyable shopping environment for the public.
1. Vendor Acceptance
Vendor acceptance is determined by product quality, category balance, and market curation. Prior participation does not guarantee future acceptance. Colorado Makers Market reserves the right to decline applications at its discretion.
2. Fees and Payment
All vendor fees must be paid by the deadline provided in the acceptance email. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason. Failure to complete payment results in forfeiting the vendor’s space.
3. Booth Setup and Display Requirements
Vendors must bring all tables, displays, and booth decor.
All setups must stay within the assigned booth dimensions.
No outdoor tents or tent frames may be used inside the venue.
Displays must be stable, safe, and able to withstand high traffic.
The vendor is responsible for keeping their booth clean and safe throughout the event.
No tape, adhesive, or hardware may be used on venue walls unless explicitly approved.
4. Load-In and Load-Out
Vendors must load in during their assigned time.
Vendors are responsible for transporting and setting up their own items.
Early breakdown is not permitted without approval from event staff.
Vendors must remove all items and leave the space clean at the end of the event.
5. Sales, Taxes, and Compliance
Vendors manage their own transactions and point-of-sale systems.
Vendors are responsible for collecting and reporting Colorado sales tax.
Food vendors must comply with all state and local health regulations.
Vendors must comply with all relevant laws related to their products.
6. Product Guidelines
Vendors may only sell items approved in their accepted application.
Any product additions must be approved before the market.
No mass-produced, dropshipped, or wholesale merchandise is permitted unless specifically approved.
7. Conduct and Professionalism
Vendors agree to treat shoppers, staff, and fellow vendors with respect. Colorado Makers Market may remove any vendor who creates a hostile, unsafe, or unprofessional environment.
8. Vendor Liability Agreement
By participating in the Colorado Makers Market, the vendor agrees to the following protections for the event and its organizers:
Responsibility for Property
The vendor is fully responsible for their products, equipment, displays, cash, and personal belongings. Colorado Makers Market does not secure or monitor vendor property.
Hold Harmless
The vendor agrees not to hold Colorado Makers Market, its organizers, staff, partners, volunteers, or affiliates responsible for any injury, loss, theft, damage, or claim arising from participation in the event.
Vendor Operations
The vendor is responsible for the safety and functionality of their booth, including setup, product handling, customer interactions, and displays. Any injuries or issues caused by the vendor’s booth or products fall solely on the vendor.
Assumption of Risk
Participation in a public event carries inherent risks. The vendor accepts these risks as a condition of participating.
Indemnification Clause
The vendor agrees to indemnify and reimburse Colorado Makers Market for any claim, damage, or expense (including legal fees) that results from the vendor’s actions, products, or negligence.
9. Insurance
While the event does not require vendor insurance, vendors are encouraged to carry business or product liability coverage. The event’s insurance policy does not extend to vendor operations or products.
10. Weather, Emergencies, and Unforeseen Circumstances
The market will proceed rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe. If the event is delayed, interrupted, or canceled due to weather, emergency situations, city decisions, venue restrictions, or circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, vendor fees are not refunded or transferred.
11. Cancellations, No-Shows, and Space Forfeiture
Vendor cancellations do not receive refunds. No-shows forfeit their space, and participation in future markets may be affected. Colorado Makers Market may reassign the space without notice.
12. Marketing and Media Use
Vendors agree that Colorado Makers Market may use photos of their booth or products taken during the event for marketing or promotional purposes.
13. Binding Agreement
By applying, paying, or participating in the Colorado Makers Market, the vendor acknowledges they have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full. No signature is required for this agreement to take effect.
