Participation in Colorado Makers Market confirms that the vendor has read, understood, and agrees to all Terms & Conditions below. Applying, paying, or participating as a vendor constitutes acceptance of these terms.
Colorado Makers Market is a curated, juried artisan market highlighting independent makers and creating a safe, well-organized shopping experience.
Definitions
“We Us Our” refers to Colorado Makers Market.
“You Your” refers to the vendor, their business, and any employees, assistants, or representatives.
“Space” refers to the assigned booth or table.
“Vendor” refers to any approved participant.
“Vendor Manual” includes all event instructions, including load in, setup, and breakdown procedures.
1. Vendor Acceptance
Acceptance is based on product quality, category balance, and overall curation. Prior participation does not guarantee acceptance into future markets. We reserve the right to accept or decline any application at our discretion.
2. Fees and Payment
All vendor fees must be paid in full by the deadline provided.
All fees are non refundable and non transferable. Failure to pay results in forfeiture of the space.
3. Booth Setup and Display Requirements
Vendors must provide their own tables, displays, and setup materials unless otherwise specified.
All displays must remain within the assigned booth footprint.
Booths are placed directly next to neighboring vendors with no additional spacing.
Displays may not extend into walkways or neighboring spaces.
No tents or tent frames are permitted indoors.
All setups must be stable, safe, and suitable for high traffic environments.
Vendors are responsible for maintaining a clean and safe booth throughout the event.
No tape, adhesives, or hardware may be applied to venue surfaces without approval.
4. What to Bring
Vendors are responsible for bringing:
Display materials and signage
Packaging and shopping bags
Cash box or payment system
Tables and chairs unless otherwise stated
5. Load In and Load Out
Vendors must load in during their assigned time window.
Late arrivals may result in loss of space at the discretion of event staff.
Vendors may not move or switch spaces without approval.
Early breakdown is not permitted.
All items must be removed and the space left clean at the end of the event.
6. Space Transfer and Sharing
Vendor spaces may not be transferred, shared, or sublet without prior approval.
Any additional vendors must apply separately and be approved in advance.
Shared booths may be subject to additional fees.
7. Sales, Taxes, and Compliance
Vendors are responsible for all transactions and payment systems.
Vendors must collect and report all applicable Colorado sales tax.
Food vendors must comply with all health regulations.
Vendors are responsible for ensuring their products comply with all applicable laws and safety requirements.
8. Product Guidelines
Vendors may only sell items approved through the application process.
Any additions must be approved in advance.
Mass produced, dropshipped, or wholesale goods are not permitted unless explicitly approved.
9. Conduct and Professionalism
Vendors are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal without refund.
10. Booth Operations and Safety
Vendors are responsible for maintaining a safe booth environment.
Walkways must remain clear at all times.
All displays must be secure and free from hazards.
Spills or breakages must be addressed immediately.
11. Liability and Responsibility
Vendors are fully responsible for their products, equipment, and personal property.
Colorado Makers Market is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage.
Vendors are responsible for any injury or damage caused by their booth, products, or actions.
12. Insurance
Vendor insurance is not required but strongly recommended.
Vendors are responsible for all claims related to their booth, products, and operations.
The event’s insurance does not cover vendors.
13. Weather and Unforeseen Circumstances
The event operates rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe.
Delays, interruptions, or cancellations due to weather, emergencies, or circumstances beyond control do not qualify for refunds or transfers.
14. Cancellations and No Shows
Vendor cancellations are non refundable.
No shows forfeit their space and may impact future participation.
Unused spaces may be reassigned without notice.
15. Marketing and Media Use
Vendors grant permission for Colorado Makers Market to use photos, videos, and business information for promotional purposes.
16. False or Misleading Applications
Vendors affirm all application information is accurate.
We reserve the right to revoke participation if information is found to be false or misrepresented.
17. Indemnification
Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Colorado Makers Market, its organizers, staff, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from participation.
18. Enforcement
We reserve the right to:
Cancel participation without refund
Reassign space
Remove vendors from the event
Deny future participation
Vendors are responsible for any costs resulting from violations of these Terms.
19. General Provisions
These Terms represent the full agreement between Colorado Makers Market and participating vendors.
If any section is found unenforceable, the remaining sections remain in effect.
